Use the alignment tool before lapping, to align the flow tube into the rings. This alignment tool goes beyond traditional rod style tips tools that alignment bars are adjustable within the two tool bodies after the bodies are mounted in scope rings - no more loosening rings multiple times to adjust rod point lengths. The rods are held in the tool bodies of precision machined calipers that center exactly in anodized aluminum, with cylinder sizes to fit 1 inch rings and 30mm rings.
