Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 70 is a refractor telescope, lightweight and easy to operate, with excellent optical capabilities. The telescope is perfect for use in dark sky conditions, away from city lights, great for observing the planets of the Solar System and the surface of the Moon. In conditions of minimal light pollution and good weather conditions, it is possible to observe Messier objects (details however will not be visible), lunar craters up to 8 km in diameter and stars up to 11.5 magnitude. Included with the telescope is a prismatic diagonal that produces a straight, distortion-free image, allowing for comfortable observation of terrestrial objects.

The kit includes a solar filter made of thick protective film that will allow you to view the sunspots through this excellent telescope. Maximum caution is necessary when observing solar activity. Always make sure the solar filter is attached to the telescope tube. The filter must completely cover the opening. Never observe the Sun and the bright areas around it with the finder.

An expanded kit includes 67x and 20x eyepieces and 3x Barlow lenses, a solar filter and a prismatic diagonal, thanks to which it is possible to obtain a 200x magnification. The telescope is equipped with a 5x24 finderscope.

The telescope is compact thanks to a 40 cm long optical tube. Even children will be able to use an altazimuth mount, which allows you to move the optical instrument simply along vertical and horizontal axes by means of a special handle. The telescope requires no further setup. Simply assemble it and adjust the height of the aluminum tripod.

The telescope, the mount, the tripod and all the optical accessories fit comfortably into the Levenhuk brand backpack included in the kit, thus allowing you to carry it with yourself or go to the park on a beautiful day to observe the Sun.

ATTENTION! Never look directly at the Sun without a special protective solar filter, you risk permanent damage to your eyesight and even blindness!
