Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 50 is a universal telescope for travel and long walks. This compact refractor will be perfect for beginner astronomers of all ages. It is suitable for observing the planets of the Solar System and the Moon as well as terrestrial observations. It features a prismatic diagonal, which provides a straight, distortion-free image and refracts the optical axis of the telescope, making it convenient for observing objects that are high above the horizon.

This little refractor will also be great for observations of the Sun and the kit includes a solar filter. Maximum caution is necessary when observing solar activity. Always make sure the solar filter is attached to the telescope tube. The filter must completely cover the opening. Never observe the Sun and the bright areas around it with the finder.

MC-coated lenses have an anti-reflective coating that guarantees quality images. The kit includes 45x and 18x eyepieces with a 1.25” diameter optical tube. The 3x Barlow lenses, included in the kit together with the eyepieces, allow a 135x magnification.

The operation of an altazimuth telescope mount does not require particular knowledge or skills: just move the optical tube along the vertical axes and horizontal. Such mounts are also suitable for landscape observations. A convenient finder will help to quickly navigate the sky or find a terrestrial object. This telescope is very easy to use and does not require complicated setup. The mount is installed on a lightweight aluminum tripod. You can adjust the height of the tripod from 40cm to 125cm.
