Aluminum forend for AR15 - KNIGHTS ARMAMENT

The KAC Free Float RAS rifle has been in service with a variety of military units, proving it as one of the most versatile and rugged handguards available. RAS (Rail Adapter System) features mil-spec M1913 Picatinny length rails at the 12, 3, 6- and 9-position positions, making it compatible with any number of tactical rail accessories. The free rail floats the barrel, allowing for consistent barrel harmonics after firing and thus greater potential accuracy. Includes three panels of KAC 11 Rib Rail. This Free Float RAS requires that the rifle have a carbine or half length gas system and a low profile gas block. Disassembly of the rifle gas system and removal of the factory barrel nut will be required. This fore-end uses a proprietary barrel nut that can be installed using a standard AR-15 gunsmith's key barrel (sold separately). For AR-15-15 / SR based platforms only; not compatible with SR-25 variants. Installation instructions are included.
