The Levenhuk Blaze BASE 80 spotting scope with variable zoom objective lens is excellent for observing large objects, as well as very distant ones. At low magnifications it is possible to examine flocks of birds or groups of animals, while high magnifications are suitable for studying the details of the landscape. The angled eyepiece gives the possibility of comfortably observing objectives in the circumzenithal area. The scope's optics are made of BK-7 glass. All optical elements exposed to the air have been treated with a multi-layer anti-reflection coating. The scope features smooth magnification change between 20x and 60x. Thanks to the large diameter objective lens, the spotting scope collects a lot of incoming light, producing a clear and contrasted image even in cloudy weather or at dusk. The long eye relief allows observation even while wearing glasses.

The Levenhuk Blaze BASE 80 has a plastic body. Fits any standard tripod with a 1/4" thread. The kit includes a metal tripod for placing the spotting scope on a surface, such as a windowsill or table. The included hard case can be used for protection and transport.
